Hi again. I've been on a good reading track at the moment (devouring about 4 in a month), so I guess I'll keep at these booktalks. I've been in the mood for quite trashy/cutesy contemporaries, but that doesn't mean I'll miss out on my favorite sci-fi/horror-esque series, the Prospero Chronicles.
<SPOILERS AHEAD>
ALDO IS A SPLINTER (WHO SEEMS TO BE ON THE NETWORK'S SIDE). I love Aldo, and he acts as if he truly has developed feelings for Mina and the others (like Mina's dad), but I can't help but be a tad skeptical. I do have to admit that his powers are pretty cool. On the topic of his power, does this mean that if the Network and the others eradicate all the Shards, he'll just go back to being a Splinter without other's powers to steal from? Also, HOW LONG HAS IS BEEN SINCE THE REAL ALDO WAS REPLACED (to be honest, I wish it was a long time ago, because I kinda really love Splinter Aldo)? Fiona JR Titchenell, please don't kill off Aldo. I could not stand that after the trauma that was Kevin Brundle.
That brings me to Kevin. HE AND ALDO ARE MY FAVORITES WHY?! And his death was so quick and jolting and Aunt Christine is Locusta and Ben is missing and nooooooo (I don't think I can take much more pain).
I'm kind of blanking on all the other scenes because of my level of strong emotions, but the whole story was wonderful. There were still funny and romantic scenes, despite the level of intensity and action packed into it. I've come to love all the characters so much, and I am extremely excited for the final book in the series, Stitches.
